Cat was an ENVISION DTP NERC funded PhD student at Lancaster Environment Centre, supervised by Dr Sally Keith, Dr Gareth Williams (Bangor University) and Dr Dan Exton (Operation Wallacea). Her PhD focussed on the cross-scale role of territorial farming damselfish behaviour in mediating space use and behavioural cascades on coral reefs.
What’s next?
Cat now holds a postdoctoral position in the Behavioural Ecology and Evolution group (https://www.behecoevo.org) at the University of Lisbon, studying the role of cleaning mutualisms in the conservation of biodiversity.
