Victoria is an EPSRC-funded PhD student at the Lancaster Environment Centre, working under the supervision of Dr Sally Keith, Dr Duncan Whyatt, and Prof. Carsten Rahbek (University of Copenhagen). She holds a BSc in International Relations from Leeds University and a second BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences (Biology) from the Open University. Between her studies, she gained valuable experience working in education, supporting children with special educational needs. Recently, Victoria completed an MSc in Conservation and Biodiversity at Lancaster University, where her dissertation explored the biogeography of oceanic dolphin behaviour. Her current research focuses on understanding the links between animal behaviour and macroecology.
